RETpositive and The White Ribbon Project Co-host White Ribbon Builds in June

Would you like to join or co-host a white ribbon build? RETpositive is joining with The White Ribbon Project to co-host a series of in-person white ribbon builds throughout RET Awareness Month in June and beyond. The white ribbon is a symbol of unity, advocacy, and resolve for the lung cancer community.

The White Ribbon Project promotes awareness about lung cancer by changing public perception of the disease. Ribbon-building events are one of the most powerful ways to build community - among survivors, caregivers, medical providers, and other supporters - in your local area. Messages of encouragement are written on the back of the ribbons, which are then given, free of charge, to lung cancer patients and caregivers.

Builds can happen anywhere, from parks to hospitals to driveways. We can help provide supplies and logistical support.

Builds support the entire lung cancer community, but we are especially interested in sites convenient for multiple RET survivors and caregivers to come together.

If you're interested, please contact Emily Walthall at e.walthall@retpositive.org. to learn more. Thank you!
